Emily Blunt Says Taylor Swift Did 'The Best Thing Anyone Has Done for My Child'

She shares the sweet moment Taylor Swift had with her eldest daughter, Hazel, that almost made her 'faint.'

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski's daughters, Hazel, 9, and Violet, 7, are truly living the dream. In a recent interview with SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show, Blunt, 41, continued to praise singer Taylor Swift, declaring herself a proud Swiftie.

"She's the nicest," Blunt told Stern of Swift. "She was so nice to my kids! My oldest kid has just cut all of her hair off, this very short haircut that she was very self-conscious about. And Taylor Swift, goes, like, 'God, look at you, you're just this '60s Beatnik cool kid. I love your style.'"

The Fall Guy star quipped that she thought Hazel "was going to faint."

"It was the best thing anyone has done for my child," Blunt said of the exchange, calling Swift "very cool."

Blunt added that being nice to her kids is the way to her heart, saying, "It changes everything. It makes me melt."

Despite growing up with parents in the public eye, Blunt said her daughters are "very level."

"To them it's quite normalized," she explained. "I think they've been around a lot of people in this job and they're relieved, often, to meet children of people in this job because it's like a secret language of understanding how weird it is that their mom is known."

The British actress, who has starred in The Devil Wears Prada and Mary Poppins Returns, says her daughters get "very protective" of her when fans approach them out and about.

"They don't like it when people come up to me," she said. "They don't like it because people's energies can be quite intense."

Swift isn't the only one dazzling Blunt's daughters. Her Fall Guy co-star, Ryan Gosling, recently gifted the girls a display of roses spelling out "Ken," his character from last summer's hit Barbie movie.

"The roses are still in their playroom at home," Blunt recently told ET of the bouquet. "It's this massive box of roses that spells 'KEN' and they're just so happy about it. I mean, they bring their friends over just to show them, you know?"

"We will never be able to throw them out," Blunt added of the gift. "And I'll just be living with Ken for forever."
