“Ladies and gentlemen, meet the heartbreaker formerly known as Maxamillion, now christened by his new human brother as Elvis Sudeikis-Wilde,” Wilde captioned a pic of the little canine adorably peering straight into the camera. “3 years young and 8 lbs of pure goodness. He's lived a pretty harrowing life so far, and we are so lucky he adopted us as his new family, so we can treat him like the king he was born to be.”

Wilde also thanked the Barc Shelter for helping her family find “the missing member of our brood.”

“This is our second adopted furry son and we cannot recommend it enough,” wrote the mom of two. “There are so many animals looking for homes. This little guy was next on the kill list at a shelter in Texas not too long ago! ?.”

In another post, Wilde hilariously took a photo of Elvis appearing as a giant next to a miniature figure of Sudeikis that the couple made at Gulliver’s Gate in New York City recently. “Jason watch out!” she wrote. The actress also shared a snap of Elvis with his “rescue bro” Pac.

Elvis first made an appearance on Wilde’s Instagram page on July 6, when the pup joined her backstage at Live With Kelly and Ryan.

“Backstage at @livekellyandryanwith my new friend Max from @barcshelter,” she wrote. “I think we have chemistry. I may need him to adopt me.”
